Airport Dimensions and AMBAAR unveil Brazil’s largest AMBAAR Club VIP lounge at Congonhas Airport

The new 1,100 m² lounge offers standout features including private cabins, a dedicated kids’ area, and a warm design inspired by São Paulo.

Airport Dimensions, in collaboration with partner AMBAAR, has opened the newest and largest AMBAAR Club VIP lounge in Brazil, located at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo.

This marks the eighth lounge developed through the Airport Dimensions and AMBAAR partnership across Brazil. The new space joins Airport Dimensions’ global network of more than 80 airport lounges and experiences, reinforcing the company’s commitment to redefining airport hospitality and enhancing the passenger journey worldwide.

With continued growth across Latin America, this latest opening highlights the rising demand for premium airport services in fast-growing markets and underscores Airport Dimensions’ ongoing strategic expansion in the region.

With 1,100m² and capacity for 283 passengers simultaneously, the lounge offers a complete and sophisticated experience for different traveler profiles, featuring rest areas, private cabins for meetings, a coworking table, a kids' area, and a gastronomic station with a versatile menu that serves all daily meals. Among the beverage options, the drinks prepared by specialized bartenders stand out.

The space is the result of a partnership between Aena, the concessionaire of Congonhas Airport and the world's largest airport operator, Concessões e Participações BR (CPBR), a company of the RFM Group with over 15 years of experience in concessions and innovative projects, AMBAAR, and Airport Dimensions.

“We are proud to expand our footprint in São Paulo with the largest AMBAAR Club lounge in Brazil. Congonhas is one of the most strategic airports in Latin America, and this project demonstrates our dedication to offering travelers a modern, versatile, and welcoming environment. From private cabins to a vibrant kids’ area and signature bar, every detail was designed to reflect the spirit of São Paulo while meeting the evolving needs of today’s passengers”, states Giorgio Benza, VP Latam of Airport Dimensions.

"The inauguration of Brazil's largest AMBAAR Club VIP lounge in Congonhas represents a milestone in the transformation we are promoting at our airports. This project is the result of a strategic partnership with operators who share our vision of enhancing the passenger experience. With 1,100 m² and premium services, the lounge reinforces our commitment to hospitality, innovation, and excellence. Congonhas is a key player in our portfolio, and initiatives such as this consolidate the airport as a national benchmark in comfort and convenience. We remain steadfast in our mission to transform our assets in Brazil, with a focus on quality, local identity, and value creation for users and partners," said Juan José Sánchez, Chief Commercial Officer of Aena Brasil.

Access to the AMBAAR Club Congonhas is available through the Lounge Key and Priority Pass programs, or by purchasing a One Day Pass, which allows the experience even for those who do not have eligible cards for the benefit.

Design inspired by the capital of São Paulo

The concept of the new AMBAAR Club unit was inspired by the classic architecture of São Paulo, bringing icons of the city into the decor. One of the highlights is the bar, which pays homage to the Congonhas Airport itself with the terminal's traditional checkered floor, in art deco style, a trademark of the airport since the 1960s.

The lounge is located near gate 8, in the new airport precinct, where AMBAAR and Airport Dimensions invested over R$ 38 million in infrastructure, including the development of a marketplace, the construction of an electrical substation, and a bridge that connects the two terminals.

"Having the largest AMBAAR lounge at Congonhas Airport, one of the most important and strategic in Brazil, represents a milestone for our company. This project reaffirms our commitment to offering differentiated hospitality experiences and consolidates our presence in one of the country's main air hubs”, states the CEO of AMBAAR.

AMBAAR's accelerated growth

The inauguration of the AMBAAR Club Congonhas reinforces AMBAAR's accelerated expansion pace, which this year has already inaugurated a lounge at the same airport, dedicated to a major financial institution. The company continues to invest in the modernization and expansion of its operations in different airports across Brazil and abroad.
